Jacob Dooijewaard, 12 agosto 1876 Amsterdam - 7 noviembre 1969 Laren. He was an art teacher in Amsterdam but soon became a fulltime and succesful painter. In 1901 he left Amsterdam and moved to Laren. He made several study trips to Spain (1910), Norway (1919), the South of France and the Basque Country (1920).
