Charly
Leonard
(Francia, 1894 - 1953). Léonard was a painter of figures,
interiors, landscapes and still lifes. He was a student of
Alfred Bastien at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
He exhibited his work almost every year. He painted church
interiors, old farms, and views of Bruges. Additionally, Léonard
travelled frequently around France and Holland, but mostly
in Spain where he painted landscapes along the Basque coast
and Andalusia.
